ASCO T290 Air Control Valve Series Angle Seat Valve Suitable For General Service Applications Plus Steam, Hot Water, And Auxiliary F Fluids Within The Food And Beverage Industry

Product Description

The ASCO Series 290, also known as 8290, is a pressure-operated, direct acting angle-body piston solenoid valve built for demanding applications. Its straight-through body design is available in bronze or stainless steel. The valve is suitable for general service applications (air, inert gas, water, oil, and light slurries), plus steam, hot water, and auxiliary fluids within the food and beverage industry. Many optional features available including a visual/electrical position indicator or a stroke limiter.

• Remote-controlled valves with disc for industrial fl uids
• Anti-waterhammer design (fl uid entry under the disc)
• Vacuum operation up to 10-2 mbar
• Wide range of piston-type operators (63 - 90 -125 mm dia.) rotatable through
360°, for maximum performance at different minimum pilot pressures
• High performance, maintenance-free stuffi ng box
• The valves satisfy Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, category 1 (DN > 25)
